Missing Feature : middle mouse button selects words

Hi,

I wonder if it's possible to teach NEdit the following feature:
given a primary selection one can use the middle mouse button to select
text which replaces the primary selection.
Is it possible to configure NEdit such that e.g. a double click with
the middle mouse button selects complete words only (like when do a
primary selection with the left mouse button)?
