Hi!
One result of the last lesstif battle is that there is nwo at least one person working again on lesstif CVS. This person also managed to do a recent release, namely lesstif-0.95.2 .
This one consists mainly of bug fixes, reverted bad commits, 64bit fixes... I am evaluating it now myself and I begin to grow some hope that it may be just fine.
Would other nedit folks care to check this one out? If issues are found, reporting them now may be a good idea, as long as development is alive. If not, all the better.
May I humbly ask for nedit to put this lesstif release on the whitelist, then?
And as always: Is there nobody who can simply tar up a CVS snapshot and call it the next nedit release? This cannot be worse than the bit-rotten nedit 5.5:-/
Alrighty then,
Thomas.
